Policies

Payment: Payment is due within 2 hours of invoicing, unless otherwise agreed to by Closette. Late payment may result in termination of the sale, at Closette's discretion.

Returns: All items are sold as is. Due to the nature of vintage clothing, we are unable to accept returns. We are happy to answer any questions you have prior to your purchase.

Shipping: Closette ships domestically (United States) and internationally with the following considerations:

  • We ship within 3 business days of purchase (Monday - Friday, excluding U.S. holidays).
  • For domestic purchases, we typically ship USPS Priority. For international purchases, we typically ship USPS First Class International. Please inquire if you desire a different shipping method.
  • We are not responsible for the item once it has shipped, but please don't hesitate to contact us if you have concerns. We will do our best to help resolve any shipping issues. We are not responsible for customs delays.
  • We do not purchase insurance unless you request it. Please inquire about insurance, signature requirement, etc., if you have specific requests.
  • We will use whatever shipping container (plastic bag or box) offers the best price with adequate protection for your item(s). If you desire a particular packaging, please inquire.
  • We are required by law to state the true value of items on customs forms, and you are responsible for customs duties or fees in your country.

Layaway: At its own discretion, Closette offers layaway for online purchases of $100 or more with the following terms:

  • A non-refundable 20% deposit is due upon purchase to reserve the item. (See Payment terms)

  • Final payment is due 4 months from the date of purchase, or earlier, if you wish.

  • Your item(s) will be shipped within 3 business days of your final payment.
